Zahnradweg is a planning guide, not the railway.
We're not Jungfraubahnen. We built this site to answer the questions the operator's own pages don't spend much time on: which stop is actually worth getting off at, how the fare structure really works, and how the two approach routes compare in practice.
What we do and don't do
Every elevation, distance, and history figure on this site is drawn from public railway documentation, heritage records, and published fare reporting, cross-checked before publishing. We don't sell tickets, and we don't take bookings — every ticket link on this site points to the operator's own channels. Fares, schedules, and operational details (like which stations are currently in service) can change season to season; where we quote a price or a time, treat it as a planning estimate, and confirm specifics directly with Jungfrau Railways before you travel.
Corrections
If you spot something on this site that's out of date or inaccurate, get in touch — we'd rather fix it than leave it.
