What this site collects

Zahnradweg is a static, read-only information guide. We do not operate user accounts, booking systems, or payment processing. The only personal data we handle is what you choose to send us directly by email at [email protected] — your email address and whatever you write in your message.

Standard web server logs

Like virtually any website, our hosting infrastructure logs basic technical request data (IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp) for security and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs are not used for tracking individuals across visits and are retained only as long as operationally necessary.

Cookies

This site does not set marketing or tracking cookies. If your browser stores any strictly functional data locally, it is used only to make the pages on this site work correctly and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts on this site. We do not have access to, and cannot see, any booking, payment, or account information you may provide directly to Jungfrau Railways or any other operator via their own channels — those are entirely separate systems outside our control.

Your rights

If you've emailed us and want your message and address deleted from our inbox, contact us and we will remove it. Because we do not maintain a database of visitor personal data beyond email correspondence, there is no broader account or profile to request access to or deletion of.
